What A Proper Service Covers
A proper boiler service takes around an hour and follows the manufacturer's checklist plus our own extra steps. Here's what's actually happening while the engineer is at your boiler.
We check combustion performance using a calibrated flue gas analyser and confirm the gas rate is within the manufacturer's spec. This is the single most important check for safety and efficiency.
System pressure, water flow, and the expansion vessel are all tested. A poorly charged vessel is one of the most common causes of repeated pressure loss calls.
We inspect the heat exchanger and burner for sludge build-up, limescale, and signs of wear. Catching corrosion early is a lot cheaper than replacing a failed part.
