We don't currently offer a third-party finance product on heat pump installations, and we would rather say that plainly than imply otherwise.
What we do offer is straightforward:
- A fixed written price after a free home survey — one figure covering the heat pump, the install, radiator changes where needed, commissioning, and the paperwork
- Staged payments on larger projects, tied to real milestones: a deposit on booking, a payment when materials arrive, and the balance on completion
- No pressure and no chasing. We quote properly and leave you to decide.
The Home Energy Scotland interest-free loan. This is the funding route worth understanding, and it is separate from anything we provide. Alongside the HES grant toward an MCS-certified heat pump, an interest-free loan is available to help cover the remaining cost. It is not a Macara Heating product — it is Scottish Government funding administered by the Energy Saving Trust — but for most eligible homeowners it does the job people usually want finance for, without the interest.
Eligibility and current amounts are confirmed during the application, which is supported alongside our MCS-certified partner JME Green Energy. We will walk you through where you stand at the survey.
