The order things happen in matters here, and it is the part most people want reassurance on:
1. Free home survey and room-by-room heat loss calculation 2. Fixed written quote, with your Home Energy Scotland eligibility reviewed 3. HES application submitted, supported alongside JME Green Energy under their MCS certification 4. Funding approved and confirmed in writing — before anything is committed 5. Install scheduled, completed, and commissioned 6. Paperwork finalised and handed over
Because approval comes before step 5, you know the net figure you are actually paying before you agree to go ahead. We put that net position in the quote rather than quoting a gross price and leaving you to work out where you land.
On the payment side of larger projects we can discuss staged payments tied to milestones — typically a deposit on booking, a payment when materials arrive, and the balance on completion. Nothing is due before you have a fixed written price and a confirmed funding position.
